When your house project demands so many decisions to make it can seem overwhelming.
There is so much technical advice thrown at you. We aim to talk customers through the options using a simple process.
See our x6 step guide when helping customers overcome the confusion of so many wooden floors to choose from.
Do you have exposed joists to fix to? (You require 18mm + engineered wood flooring or over)
An existing sub floor in place (any thickness goes-fill your boots on options)
In all cases your sub-floor must be clean, level(+ or - 3mm allowed across a 2m run) and dry.
What type of wood flooring?
The wood flooring look.
Think colours & Finish
Lacquered - Low maintenance - Easy to look after
Oiled - Regular maintenance - Easy to maintain
Bevel or no bevel - these are the grooves between wood flooring. A square edge means no groove where the wood flooring meets, a bevel is a groove in the join of the wood flooring and a micro bevel is a small groove where the wood planks meet.
